It’s that time of year again- families around the States are saying thanks, brining turkey, and lining up for Black Friday.  Before digging in, we thought we’d take a quick look at how social is feeling about Thanksgiving 2014.

Key Concepts include happy, thankful, family, food, and of course, turkey.  It looks like yet again, Christmas takes the stage a bit early this, mentioned 32,999 in conjunction with Thanksgiving.

A quick media breakdown indicates that most conversations are happening on Twitter, which currently comprises 75% of total mentions.

Traced back to a 1621 celebration of good harvest at Plymouth in present-day Massachusetts, Thanksgiving is celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada.  Our geographical coverage shows an overwhelming majority of mentions coming from the United States.
