Recap: Data Rules at #PRAsia2015

What a whirlwind couple of days it has been at PR Asia 2015! Aimed at bringing PR pros and beginners alike, the event was a great opportunity to meet and mingle with digital advocates in the industry. The Digimind team was up bright and early to connect with them.

Data is king: As they say, data is the voice of your customer. Brands that leverage data to inform their PR and communications strategies can save themselves from second guessing their moves.

Time to get your CEO on social! Employees, when leveraged properly, can become your brand’s best advocate, spokesperson, and defence. But what your leaders? 44% of a company’s market value depends on the CEO’s reputation – that’s almost half! If your CEO is not on social yet, time to get him or her on board!  

Always have a backup plan: A brand’s worst nightmare is an online crisis where everyone is blaming them for any issue, even if it’s not under their care. Brands should definitely have a contingency plan, as well as the readiness to respond in a timely manner to recover their image, as well as foster trust in their customers.
